1.Educational institutions in 7 major cities of Punjab to be closed for 15 days
Educational institutions in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Gujrat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa capital Peshawar and Muzaffarabad will remain closed from March 15 to March 28. Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Gujarat Holidays are being announced from March 15 under which schools will remain closed till March 28, while educational institutions in Islamabad will also remain closed for these 15 days.

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood said that the situation in Sindh and Balochistan is almost normal so 50% of children in these provinces will be allowed to come to educational institutions on a daily basis but there are problems in Punjab, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
